On Sunday 20, the first Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta arrived at Ezeiza International Airport after a nine-month suspension.
Delta will have three weekly flights between both cities. With this schedule, the company will offer a total of 714 seats per week between Atlanta and Buenos Aires.At least for now, the operations will be carried out on the Boeing 767-400 configured with the new cabin layout.
In October 2015, Delta and Aerolineas Argentinas announced a codeshare agreement that expanded travel options to and from the US, Argentina and Uruguay. The agreement offers Delta customers access to flights operated by Aerolineas Argentinas from the Buenos Aires International Airport to Montevideo, Uruguay, as well as to Mendoza and Córdoba, two important destinations in Argentina. Similarly, the agreement provides Aerolineas Argentinas with codeshare on Delta's domestic flights to 14 major business and tourism destinations in the United States.
